Rashmika Mandanna was young when she made her big screen debut with the 2016 Kannada film Kirik Party. A video of 19-year-old Rashmika rehearsing for a film role ahead of her debut has surfaced online. Fans re-shared the video and were excited to get a glimpse into her life before fame.

A tape of Rashmika that is being shared online shows her in two different looks. Initially in red, it turns into a flower court. He says, “Hi, I am Rashmika. Age is 19. Height is 5’5. I’m in my second year BA and this is my first time auditioning for anything.’

Someone off camera asked her to speak in Kannada and she did. After trying to speak a few sentences in Kannada, she said in frustration, “I don’t understand it, I can’t do it.” In the second half of the video, she seems a bit more confident with her lines, even dancing to Madhuri Dixit’s Aaja Nachle.
Rashmika’s career on The Rise
After winning Fresh Face in college in 2014, Rashmika Mandanna was encouraged to pursue acting. After making her screen debut in 2016, the actress got engaged to her co-star Rakshit Shetty in 2017. In the same year, she acted in the films Anjani Putra and Chamak.
In 2018, they called off their engagement due to incompatibility. 2018 is also the year Rashmika made her Telugu cinema debut with Chalo and there was no looking back.

Over the years, she shot to fame with Geetha Govindam and acted in films like Sarileru Neekevvaru, Sita Ramam and Pushpa: The Rise. She has also ventured into Tamil with the 2021 film Sulthan and Hindi with the 2022 film Goodbye.
Rashmika Mandanna now has a number of projects lined up in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Rashmika will soon be seen in Rainbow, The Girlfriend, Pushpa: The Rule, Kubera, Chhaava and Sikandar.
