To complete her look, the actress wore dangling diamond earrings, loads of glittering silver rings and pulled her hair back into a sleek bun as she posed with her co-stars Saldaña, Adriana Paz, Gascón and Edgar Ramírez.
Selena Gomez walked the carpet solo, but was joined by friend Benny Blanco at Alice Tully Hall. The pair recently attended the 2024 Emmy Awards together in coordinating glittery all-black looks as they celebrated nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Comedy Series for The Only Murder in the Building.
Emilia Pérez, a Spanish-language film musical written and directed by French filmmaker Jacques Audiard, debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May, taking home two awards, including best actress for an ensemble.

“Through liberating song, dance and bold visuals, this odyssey follows the journey of four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness,” says the film’s synopsis.
“Feared cartel leader Emilia recruits Rita (Saldaña), an underrated dead-end lawyer, to help fake her death so Emilia can finally live authentically as her true self.”
Since then, Selena Gomez has been promoting the project in style. Earlier this month, she attended its Sept. 9 premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in a black sequined Rodarte dress and Tiffany & Co. jewels. styled by Erin Walsh.
At the event, the Rare Beauty founder spoke with PEOPLE about her character Jessi Del Monte, the wife of drug cartel leader Emilia Pérez (Gascón), who tries to fake her death “so Emilia can finally live authentically as her true self.” as the synopsis says.
“It was actually really interesting because I ended up developing a character that’s very similar to me,”
Selena Gomez said.
“And I actually believe in a lot of Latino communities in America. I think it’s everywhere, too. But I, I’m just really, really glad that we were able to make her Latino, because that’s who I am.”
she added.
