Ananya Panday, who stars in the new cyberthriller CTRL, recently opened up about two embarrassing incidents related to online privacy. The actor recalled that she accidentally revealed the contact numbers of herself and Suhana Khan on social media twice.
In an interview with Netflix India, Ananya revealed that she once shared a screenshot of Suhana’s number on her Instagram handle.
Ananya Panday on accidentally leaked numbers
When we were talking about cyber threats, Ananya was asked if her number was in any database somewhere. She said: “No, I gave my own number by mistake once. It happened when I was doing an interview. Now that has changed because they took my phone.
A press conference was held and the interview began. Some reporters came and asked for my number so they could do journalistic things and ask questions and stuff. So I gave the number, but the conversation began. And they put it on YouTube with my number. Then it leaked.”

Ananya further said,
“Once I accidentally gave Suhana’s number. I was FaceTiming her. And then I thought, Suhana is not picking it up. I took a screenshot and put it on Instagram and there was her number. Then she (Suhana Khan) called me: ‘Listen, my number has been hacked’ and I said: ‘Oh my God. What happened Suhana? That’s such a crazy story.” But then someone told her I did it.”

Ananya Panday made her Bollywood debut as a 2nd year student. She later acted in films like Gehraiyaan, Khaali Peeli, Dream Girl 2 and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan.
